Dear Neurodiab Members, Friends, and Colleagues,

It is a great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 33rd Annual Meeting of Neurodiab from 28 September to 1 October 2023 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

After the successful congress of 2022 in Bergen, in 2023, we would like to renew an exciting experience with a meeting in presence in Thessaloniki and to enjoy the characteristic points of strength of Neurodiab meetings again: the interaction and exchanges between different specialists, between basic and clinical science, and between leader scientists and young researchers. Furthermore, we wish to nourish your passion for research and dedication to caring for people with diabetic neuropathy.

The annual meeting of Neurodiab is the most important yearly event in diabetic neuropathy. Therefore, we work up a rich scientific program with original works, invited lectures, and symposia on translational science, new risk factors, natural history, artificial intelligence application, pain phenotyping, therapeutic frontiers, electrical stimulation, and unexplored territories of autonomic control. This year Neurodiab hosts a joint symposium with Peripheral Nerve Society.

We guarantee a significant presence of young researchers in the faculty, numerous participants from many countries, and an attractive social program.

With the whole Executive Committee, we hope to meet you in the historical, warm, and welcoming city of Thessaloniki in the traditional but constantly renewed friendly atmosphere of Neurodiab meetings and to regain together in this challenging time support and inspiration for research and clinical work
